Portal Status Page

In Q2 of 2022, the Customer Portal's Health Status Page was introduced. This is a new and improved method for communicating with users regarding upcoming maintenance and incident outages.

Since the introduction of the Customer Portals years ago, outages have been sent via the site’s notification platform to users who’ve opted in to the general myCFMPortal subscription type. The notification emails inform users of upcoming, planned outages related to security upgrades and functionality enhancements.

This method’s reliability and reach have fallen short of expectations and hasn’t kept up with the modern approach used by most online services. So, going forward, Portals users will not have to sign up for outage notification and won’t have to rely on emails to know what's happening with the site. Instead, information about upcoming outages will be broadcast via In-app messaging. This means users will see a new Portal Status button in the top of the website.

Click on this button (in myCFM Portal) to open the myCFM Portal public status page which contains information about recent and future outage windows.

The Portal Status button displays its ON version (bright blue) when there is an ongoing Incident item in status.io or a ongoing/future Maintenance item in status.io for a widget you have added to one of your Portals tabs.
