myDownload widget - Overview and Searching
To satisfy user needs and expectations, CFM makes available many technical publications via the myCFM Portal. The myDownload widget allows users to consult and/or install the viewer of the documentation in an offline mode.
This is very useful for users without internet connection and for installing the documentation on a local network.
In addition to the technical documentation, myDownload widget also includes many other documents to download such as video tutorials about the TechPubs (How to use the viewer, etc..) or about Maintenance. Do not hesitate to discover this widget!
The first step to accessing the technical documentation is connecting to www.mycfmportal.com and adding the myDownload widget:
How to start a search in myDownload?
• Click on “New search” (1) to start the search process:
• Select the Engine Model (2) from the dropdown menu.
Feel free to use the “Document name” box where you can search by entering a document name (for example you can enter a SB number, a part designation etc.).
Warning: the search is applied only on the title, not the content.
• Enter Document name (3): « SPM » in example below (Figure 8).
• Choose « Release date from » and « To » (4) (*optional*)
• Click on « SEARCH » (5)
• The results appear. The tree view is expanded.
• Click on the Title (6) to minimize the tree view (*optional*)
• Select the document (7) and click on « Download » (8)
A new tab will open in your internet browser.
• Click on « Download » (9).
• Click on the Export List (10) to download and save.

• To save the search, enter a title and click on « Save as new search » (11).
A message will appear to confirm the correct save.
• When the window is closed, the saved search will appear in the widget.
To consult it, click on the line.
How to search using the SB applicability filter?
This filter is available only for Service Bulletin documents on LEAP models.
· In the dropdown menu, select the Engine Model (1).

Tick one or several boxe(s) in SB
applicability (2) by using the scroll bar.
Or enter the applicability in the Filter models (3)
· then select "Service Bulletin" (4) under "Technical Publications" in the documentation criteria
· Click on "Search"
· The result appear. The tree view is expanded.
CAUTION : applicabilities and categories will be completely displayed after global reference of LEAP engine

How to search using the Tree View?
In the “Documentation criteria for selected Engine Model” zone, you can navigate in the folders and select specific ones for faster results. To activate this box, you need to select the Engine model
For example, we search the global revision of the CFM56-5B with the offline myTechPub viewer.
- In the dropdown menu, select the Engine Model (1). This activates: « Documentation criteria for selected Engine Model ».
- *Optional* :
Enter the Document name.
Exact match is activated by default – Deselect if desired.
- Click on the Title (2.1) to UNFOLD the tree view.
- Select the folder (2.2) that you need.
- Click on « SEARCH » (3).
Select the document (4) and click on « Download » (5).
A new tab will open in your internet browser.
Click on « Download » (6)
How to save a search?
• To save the search, enter a title and click on « Save as new search » (8).
A message will appear to confirm the correct save.
When the window is closed, the saved search will appear in the widget. To consult it, click on the line item (see exploded view).
